Cigar Log 2020

Below is the list of the cigars smoked during 2020, except for my first cigar which was on Christmas day 2019. The cigars are in the order smoked along with where they were bought from, what i paid, my own rating and if available a download of my rating sheet.

For cigars No.1 through to No.17 the cigars were just smoked with no thought about any form of rating. After some research on the ratings people use i adopted the Bespoke Unit method of rating. V1 of my ratings was used from No.18 to No.35. Based on my lack of knowledge coupled with my untrained palate the Bespoke Unit rating sheet did not meet my needs and i felt i was just ticking the same boxes for each cigar. With this in mind i then I then created the V2 rating sheet that was based around the Bespoke Unit one but altered to suit my needs. V2 of the rating sheet was used from No.36 through to No.43. After some fine tuning V3 was created and implemented from No.44 onward. Obviously with all these changes the initial ratings may be a bit skewed but hopefully from No.44 everything will be more consistent.

Its worth noting that this rating sheet is made purely for me and in no way is indicative of how a true cigar aficionado would score a cigar.
