Clean, cold and endlessly adaptable. Two ways with the vodka on the shelf, including a personal twist on a classic.
Vanilla Martini
Smooth, faintly sweet, and dangerously easy to drink.
From the shelf: Stoli Vanil
Ingredients
- 2½oz Stoli Vanil
- ½oz dry vermouth
- Lemon twist or olive, to garnish
Method
- Add the vodka and vermouth to a mixing glass with ice.
- Stir for 20–30 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain into a chilled martini glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist or olive.
Cosmopolitan
Tart, pink and properly balanced — the real ratio, not the sickly-sweet version.
From the shelf: vodka, plus Cointreau and cranberry juice
Ingredients
- 1½oz vodka
- ¾oz Cointreau
- 1oz cranberry juice
- ¼oz fresh lime juice
Method
- Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
- Shake hard for 10–15 seconds.
- Double strain into a chilled martini glass.
Tip: swap in Absolut Raspberri and a splash of Chambord for a raspberry-forward house variant.
